🎤 Audio Management - Overview

ShowCaller offers a complete system for managing wireless audio equipment during your production. From registering your microphones to tracking in real time who has which device.

What can you do with Audio Management?

  • Register devices - Add all your microphones, headsets, lapels and in-ear monitors to your inventory
  • Assign to people - Link devices to cast and crew in specific cues
  • Pick Up/Return - Track in real time whether microphones have been picked up and returned
  • Detect conflicts - Automatic warnings if a device is still with someone
  • Status overview - See at a glance which devices are available

How does it work?

  1. Create inventory - Register all your devices via the Audio Inventory Manager
  2. Assign in cues - Assign devices to people per cue via the cue configuration
  3. Audio Patch Plan - Open the Audio Patch Plan screen for a complete overview
  4. Pick Up/Return - Check off when devices are picked up or returned

Who has access?

Audio Management is available for:

  • Admin - Full access
  • ShowCaller - Full access
  • Crew with discipline "Audio" - Full access

The Audio Patch Plan is accessible via the user menu in the top right corner.
