Privacy Policy ShowCaller

ShowCaller (part of VidéPro) respects the privacy of its users. In this privacy policy, we explain which personal data we collect via showcaller.online, why we do this, and how we protect it.
1. Who are we?
VidéPro B.V. is responsible for data processing for the ShowCaller service.

2. What data do we collect?
We process personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us.
A. Account Data
When you create an account, we collect:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Password (stored encrypted)
- Profile photo (optional)
- Organization name and role (e.g., Showcaller, Crew)
B. Login with Google (OAuth)
If you choose to log in via your Google account, we receive from Google:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your profile photo
Note: We use this data exclusively to create your account and log you in. We do not request access to your contacts, Google Drive files, or other private data.
C. Show and Production Data
Data you enter in the application, such as rundowns, scripts, crew schedules, and technical lists, are stored by us to provide the service.
D. Billing Data
For paid subscriptions, we (or our payment provider Stripe) process:
- Company name
- Billing address
- VAT number
- Payment history
- We do not store credit card data ourselves; this is handled entirely by Stripe.
3. Purpose of Processing
We process your data for the following purposes:
- Creating and managing your account.
- Providing ShowCaller services (real-time collaboration on rundowns).
- Processing payments.
- Sending necessary emails (password reset, team invitations).
- Improving our application (debugging and logging).
4. Data Sharing with Third Parties
We never sell your data to third parties. We only share data with parties necessary for our service delivery ("Processors"):
- Google Cloud / Firebase: For hosting, database, authentication, and cloud functions. (Data storage takes place within the EU/US under strict security).
- Stripe: For processing payments.
- Postmark / Mailgun: For sending transactional emails.
5. Security
We take the protection of your data seriously. ShowCaller uses:
- SSL/TLS encryption for all data connections.
- Secure storage via Google Cloud Platform (Firestore).
- Strict access control (only you and your team members have access to your shows).
6. Retention Period
We do not retain your data longer than strictly necessary.
- Account data: Until you cancel your account.
- Backups: Maximum 30 days.
- Billing data: 7 years (legal requirement).
7. Your Rights
You have the right to view, correct, or delete your personal data. You can largely do this yourself via your account settings. You also have the right to data portability. If you want to exercise these rights or have a complaint, contact us at support@showcaller.online.
8. Changes
We may change this privacy policy. Changes will be published on the website.
